HAZLETON, PA (July 8, 2025) – The Hazleton Police Department (HPD) launched a new website to
help city residents and people throughout Greater Hazleton easily and efficiently find the latest news
and information from the department.

The new website will help the HPD achieve its mission to “protect and serve the people of Hazleton”
by providing 24/7 access to the latest news and information. It’s designed with an easy navigation
structure so people can find what they need right from the homepage.

Visitors to the website can see a complete listing of the department’s administration and officers and
find easy instructions on how to contact them. They can also learn more about HPD’s seven divisions,
which includes the two-member K9 Unit and Narcotics Unit.

They can also find information on the HPD’s latest arrests from the Crime Watch page. It’s also easy to
see where to navigate for information on obtaining an accident report, reporting a minor incident, or
paying for parking tickets or other violations.

They can also easily find the department’s careers page for the latest information on officer openings
and testing dates, and learn more about the activities and events the department is holding in the
community throughout the year.
